Women, Sex, and Desire
Sometimes You Feel Like a Ho, Sometimes You Don’t

Women, Sex, and Desire: Sometimes You Feel Like a Ho, Sometimes You Don’t was a multi-media performance dialogue about how women navigate sex, desire, choice, and perception. Part talk show, workshop retreat, comedy sketch, and dance performance, Women, Sex, and Desire combined real stories, real people, and a diverse movement vocabulary ranging from postmodern to pole dancing to create an experience that was at once entertaining, insightful, honest, risky, and risqué.

Women, Sex, and Desire was commissioned by Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center (MD) and supported by the NPN Creation Fund, the Rockefeller Foundation's NYC Cultural Innovation Fund, and the Rockefeller Brothers Fund.  The work toured to Dance Place (DC), ProArts Collective (TX), University of Colorado Boulder (CO), Joyce SoHo (NY), and University of Albany (NY).
